Who is responsible
Oleksandr Cherniavskiy is responsible for the personal data collected through this website (the “data controller”). For any question about this policy or your data, contact oleksandr.violin@gmail.com.
What data we collect
Booking & enquiry form: when you send a request we collect your name, email address and — if you provide them — phone number, city and the message you write. You also confirm your consent to be contacted.
Analytics: with your consent we use Google Analytics, which collects pseudonymous usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate location and device/browser information) using cookies. We also use Vercel Analytics, which measures traffic without cookies.
Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider processes basic technical information (such as your IP address) in server logs to deliver and secure the site.
Why we use it and our legal basis
To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible booking or lessons — based on your consent and on taking steps at your request.
To understand how the site is used and improve it — based on your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
To operate and secure the website — based on our legitimate interest in providing a functioning, safe service.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: Resend (to deliver enquiry notification emails), our website hosting provider (to host the site and store enquiries) and Google Analytics (analytics, only with your consent).
We do not sell your personal data. Some providers (such as Google) may process data outside the EU; where that happens it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies and analytics
No analytics cookies are set until you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
Vercel Analytics is cookieless and does not track you across sites.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting booking, and for up to 24 months after our last contact for our records.
Analytics data is retained according to the analytics provider’s standard retention settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact oleksandr.violin@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Belgium, the Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last revised.
